Ashwin Julies, better known by is stage name Dwson (pronounced Dawson) is a South African Dj, from the Western Cape who is admired for his mastery of dubby deep-soulful house compositions. Dwson rose from the ashes of what seemed to be a predictable sound of ''commercial'' house, diversifying it with a touch of dub and electro however still managing to capture the essence of house music. He is one of the Dj's at the forefront of the revolutionary dub sounds which are taking over Cape Town.
