Mvume Kosi, popularly known by his stage name DJ Coco Sa, was born on the 17th of February 1983 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Known for his signature soulful, deep house tunes, his contributions to the sound were finally recognised in 2023 by the Metro Awards as he received the New Artist of the Year award with his hit record "I Never Thought".
