David Adedeji Adeleke, stage name "Davido" is an American-born Nigerian songwriter, leading contemporary artist in Nigeria and a record producer. He was born 21 November, 1992 and is often regarded as one of the biggest artists in Africa.

Davido studied Business Administration at Oakwood University but dropped out to produce beats and record vocal references. He rose to fame after releasing the second single "Dami Duro" from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo which was released in 2012.
