Mojalefa Thebe affectionately known as Mjakes or Mjojo to many is a Dobsonville, Soweto-born musician, Songwriter, Music producer, Sound engineer and Record label owner.

Mojalefa, after completing his metric went on to study Electrical Engineering but destiny called. He still had a great interest in being in the entertainment industry . He joined a music group called Frenz who went on to record their first album with Gallo Records and that was only the beginning. After completing his Engineering studies he decided to give the music thing a chance before joining the working force. He went on to work and produce many Kwaito artists . He then met Robbie Malinga and wrote songs for S'fiso on the 'My Love Song' album. Co-produced Robbie Malinga albums from Lobola, Mporo-mporoma, Susan , Meadowlands and many more.

Producing the first two Ntando Albums, Yvonne Chaka-chaka's Makoti album, Choppa's Magarita album, Nhlanhla Nciza's Inguquko album have been a highlight in his career as a producer. At present Mojalefa has partnered with producer Robbie Malinga and Rampa Masoko of Khalipha entertainment which brought Brian Mcknight to start a record company HIT HOUSE RECORDS.
