Riky Rick founded his own record label after his departure from his then label, Mabala Noise. Through his partnership with Sony, Riky was able to start Cotton Club Records, and the rest as they say is history. The company was originally named Makhado Makhado Agency under which he only released once. The name would later change to Cotton Club Records.
