Undoubtedly known for his musicality in the jazz fraternity and his relentless will to produce modern African music though with deep roots in the traditional influences.

Born 1957 in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, he received classical piano lessons from a tender age of seven (7). He began performing professionally in 1981, going on to record two albums with the band Sakhile.

His brilliance on the piano and unmistakable producing style saw him being sought after by some of the most important musicians in South Africa and internationally.
