Mandisi Dyantyis was born and bred in Port Elizabet, Eastern Cape, South Africa. He began playing the trumpet at age 8 and today is a trumpeter, vocalist and music director. He is best known for his versatility in Jazz, Western Classical and African Indigenous music. The Afro soul/Jazz artist was nominated for the SAMA award for best Jazz Album of 2019.
